The Development Programme offers free support to businesses, whether they decide to enter the Business Excellence Awards or not.  It is about helping businesses improve what they do.

Please note: the Development Progamme for the 2008-2009 Business Excellence Programme is now finished. The Development Programme will be repeated in 2010 as part of the 2010-2011 Business Excellence Programme.

The Development Programme consists of a series of free Workshops covering seven key areas of business activity.  During the Workshops you will complete a Business Self Assessment - a snapshot of your business which offers insight into how it works and where you may be able to make improvements.

3 EASY STEPS

Step 1
The first step is to complete an Expression of Interest.  Filling out this simple form gives us some essential basic information about your business and, as its name suggests, lets us know you are interested in participating.

Step 2
The Workshops will be delivered by experienced tutors and will cover seven key areas of business activity. You will leave with practical information on what you can do to improve your business.

Step 3
All businesses who attend the Workshops are entitled to a free Business Health Check worth $500 from Campbell Tyson Cooper White.  The Business Health Check is an objective check on the current health of your business and the written report you receive will help identify potential improvements. 

Please note:
You can enter the Business Excellence Awards without taking part in the Development Programme, however we do recommend working through both phases and of course there are significant benefits to taking part in the Development Programme whether you enter the Awards or not.
